Foil countertops are hardwearing and resistant to scratches, cracks and stains. They are also easy to maintain –a little care will keep them looking brand new for years.

To make it simpler for you, the foil countertops are available as pre-cut. It is possible to cut holes for sink and/or faucet if needed.

Let the silicone underneath the countertop harden for 2 hours before attaching the sink.

Support rails for assembly included to increase countertop stability.

Countertop is sized for a perfect fit and should not be cut to alter width or depth. It is possible to cut out for sink.

Care

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Wipe clean with a water dampened soft cloth and a mild non-abrasive dish detergent or soap, if necessary.

Foil is sensitive to corrosive chemicals like descaling agents, chlorine and acetone. Remove immediately in case of spillage. Regular household detergents may be used.

Appearance was deceivingKathyThe image appeared to be solid surface but it is laminate on press board.2
Extremely cheapClaudineThis countertop is to be stayed away from. It was scratched after 1 day, likely from the installers' drill (not a hole from the bit, just the drill deposited on the surface.) A true laminated countertop will not scratch from tools being put in top of it. The foil laminate is not waterproof, but it's sold as a bathroom countertop. Extremely sensitive to heat damage. Will try to get a refund but unknown if they'll accept since it's been installed. I would not recommend for any use.1
UnsatisfiedFaisalSurprised to see that counter top is not cut as per the sink That was really a bad joba nd make it very difficult for me Was not wxpecting from IKEA Once it withs ink it should be cut and sealed I will give 0 marks to those please1
Good, but...Sui-ChuBe careful with the right length of screws used to fasten the countertop. Wish adding 1/4 inches more to the thickness of the countertop.4

Looks great but be warned of heat!JunkoJust redid our main bathroom and I love it. The countertop looks so good and the bathroom (also mostly ikea furniture) looks amazing. HOWEVER, anyone looking to get this countertop be warned that it does not take heat well. I left my hair straightener on the counter to warm up for just a couple minutes and when I picked it up, the heat had left a light blue mark and there were some notches now in the surface of the counter (from the heat plus the grooves on the side of the straightener). I wish I had known this beforehand because now I’m so sad my new beautiful countertop is marked. TwT4
