Sturdy but hard to assembleCaroleVery frustrating to assemble because the rods kept falling out on one side as we tried to attach the opposite side (it took two of us to accomplish the job). But now that it's assembled we are very happy with both the sturdiness and look of the bench.

Yellow off-white :(RobMost important thing: this bench is NOT white. It's not that IKEA "antique white" either, it's a yellowed off-white. Very very noticeable against the actual white of our window frames.
One other negative is the edges are very rectangular (not beveled at all) so a bit of a hazard for toddlers.
Besides that, it's sturdy and larger than you'd expect, with good sized spaces for shoes etc. Assembly is typical for IKEA stuff, very smart. Solid.
Perfect shoe benchSebnemIt has a nice sleek look. Works as a shoe rack and bench. One thing to note is that it bends a bit when you sit on it, so maybe watch the weight.
Very happy with this purchaseJacquelineI bought this for our condo and it fits the space by the main door perfectly. I am pleased that it can fit at least 8 pairs of shoes, as well as provide seating when putting shoes on. It is very handy for putting down my bags or items I'm carrying, after coming in through the door and needing my hands to lock the door or switch on the lights. I have recommended it to my friend and after seeing it at my place, she will buy one for her house too.
good shoes rackOanaGood rack, but not great. If you are wearing a little taller boots they will not fit on any shelf or under.Keep that in mind. Other than that easy assembly , nice little bench.
great size shoes-storage and a benchAnonymousWe bought this bench in white a few months ago and it looks great near the entrance door (inside the house). it has enough space to put shoes and bags on the racks and we can sit down while getting shoes on/off. the size is perfect - not miniature, but doesnt take up too much from our not too spacious entrance. easy cleaning- dump cloth, no fingerprints left. the downside - a bit pricey for a furniture item, which is not a must.
Neat shoe storageAngelineI bought this item to allow my kids to sit and put their shoes on as well as neatly put all there shoes away. Even my one year olds shoes fit on the rungs which is great. Their boots don't but I still like the bench. My entry way looks neat and tidy.
