Too difficult to assemble SavannahI love the idea of this, but I understand now why it’s a now or never buy. The screws didn’t all fit, difficult to do on one’s own, which was surprising.2
Excellent buy! But not intuitive to install.RussellBought this on sale as a corner toy storage for our puppies and adult dogs. Both bottom levels we used for stuffed and soft chewy toys while the top level was reserved for wipes, washclothes and pk. The assembly of the product wasn't intuitive. We found that assembling the legs first (steps 5,6 7 and 14) were easier if done outside the tent. Once both legs were assembled both pairs can slip into the tent easily. We also found that lifting one leg while installing the cross bracing can help align the screw with the brace. Step 15 is crucial, we skipped this step thinking it was the same way as step 9,10; let me tell it's NOT. There are 4 corner tabs that this brace needs to be slip through. To complete Step 15 you would need to slip the cross brace on ALL corner tabs before assembling. Slipping one tab and then installing doesn't work. Slip all corner tabs first then fasten the brace to each leg to complete the installation. Overall a well priced, stylish and useful buy.5
Don’t buyJuliaI’m familiar with ikea, but this assembly was a nightmare and it’s NoT worth it. I’m returning. 1
MehSamanthaI have purchased 3 of these. They are kind of a pain to assemble, but work as intended. However, my most recent tigerfinks were missing hole threads and I ended up buying sheet metal screws to finish the job. IKEA's quality control is slipping. Albeit, when they're finally assembled they hold a TONNE of stuffies and really keep things organized.3
Not easy to assembleAbhishekIt needs better instructions and assembly is really complicated1
Super cuteEllisI use it for my dogs toys and they can access their stuffies easily5
Terrible assembly, save your nerves and skip this!AizhanHonestly, this is impossible to assemble by yourself because the whole thing is mesh that collapses even when you put the sticks inside, and then they move up and down. You have to connect and screw 2 different parts while trying to hold the mesh. Screws get entangled and damage mesh as well. This was nerve wracking! Also there are only 2 inserts for the “shelves” but there are 3 shelves, so the bottom one doesn’t have it and you can feel the supporting sticks on the bottom which doesnt make any sense to me. Why didnt you add all 3? IKEA you should redesign the idea of this toy storage for stuffies is great but execution is horrible: it shouldn’t be so hard for $20!2
If you like yourself do not buy this KirstenWriting on behalf of my wife as she is the account holder. These are my words. I cannot discourage people enough from buying this nightmare. Seems simple enough. Picture the most frustrating old school tent building experience and amplify that by 100. Very, very finicky to build. The instructions are clear on what to do it’s just exceedingly awkward. It took as long as it takes me to build an ikea bed to build this thing. 45 minutes easily. It seems like it was specifically designed to be awful to put together. I was very close to just throwing it out. Now that it’s finished it’s not that great. It’s going to sit there mocking me forever. And every time I look at it I’ll shiver remembering this night. 1
Cute but a HUGE HassleJessicaI like the way it looks, and the practicality of it (stuffed animals look great and it’s spacious). The assembly though… I’m skilled and this has me pretty frustrated. The screws really don’t want to go in and the seams are wonky causing things to not fit/sit properly which annoys me. For $19.99 it’s not a bad purchase, just wasn’t expecting it to be so hard to put together.3
Great storage ideaSharonThis is the perfect storage idea for our grandchildren’s toys. Doesn’t take up very much room and looks tidy.5
Sturdy and UsefulShanthalMy partner had a hard time assembling it but it was worth it. It took him 30mins to do it by himself but despite that we still like it and would buy again in the future.5
Our Rumi love itKashifEasy to assemble, light weight maneuvering between rooms is easy5
Great ProductAmyBought this for my son to store his stuffed toys. Was looking for something that didn’t have fabric laying directly on the floor. This serves the purpose perfectly! While it was a little difficult to assemble solo, its ease of use afterwards was exactly what I was looking for. It stores more than I was expecting and is easy to grab toys from it and put them back.5
Hard to assembleMandyThis was very hard to assemble, screws don't align1
Perfect for storing stuffed animals RachelI have the blue one and it is perfect for storing lots of stuffed animals in my kid’s room. Sturdy and much bigger than I expected! It can be tricky at some steps to put together, but if you take your time and look at the manual for each step, you can do it! Unlike the other reviews, it can be done by yourself, you just need to follow the manual throughly (I missed one of the beginning steps and that is what made it tricky once I realized more than half way through lol); and it actually is really good quality and very sturdy. Very happy with this purchase! 5
Get ready for frustrationCarleyPutting this together will test your patience like no other ikea item. Do not try it by yourself, you %100 need another set of hands. I did it by myself and I do not recommend anyone do that if you value your mental health. If there were 2 people it would be so easy. Also, the screws are a pain and some have trouble screwing in but once it’s put together, it’s great lol3
Poor quality for costAstraWe’ve been shopping at IKEA since 2016 and usually love their products, but this one was a major disappointment. My wife picked it up in-store, and it turned out to be one of the worst items we’ve ever had to assemble. Every single piece had to be forced into place, and the screw holes didn’t align properly. It honestly felt like it was machined incorrectly. There were also zero extra screws if you happened to strip any of the ones you have. After struggling with it and putting it together I looked up the reviews online and was surprised to see that this cheaply made product sells for around $20. It felt more like putting together a low-quality, off-brand Chinese knockoff than something from IKEA. Very disappointing for a company that usually delivers much better quality.1

More playful storage

TIGERFINK is smart and simple storage that can swallow the children’s stuffed animals and toys and is easy to move around. So they can find their favourite things fast and easy – and stow everything away when it’s time to call it a night and go to bed. But TIGERFINK actually became more than that. When we invited children to test the storage, they made it a part of the fun and games – and turned it into a bunk bed for the soft toys.
