brightness is inconsistent/ lamp adjusts itselfYenSurprised that I couldn’t find another review that mentioned this, but the brightness is so inconsistent, as in, I adjusted the light to the brightness level I like and 3 mins later it either brights up or dims down. I dont know why it adjusts itself like that and it’s very very annoying. Maybe I got a defective lam idk. Only good thing is the lamp looks cute but that’s it..3

Globe won't fitMindyIt's a long, long drive to Ikea so they've pocketed my money and I won't be able to return this. I love the look of the Tarnaby but the globe does not fit. Folks online say "maybe" to press harder on the glass but . . . um . . . no thanks. Slicing myself to ribbons is too great a price to pay. I'm super annoyed about this. 1

Cord color not niceJaneI was set to buy the yellow lantern but when I saw the cord was green, I changed my mind. Come on Ikea, match your cords with the color of the lamp or make it white not such a contrasting color. Its not a nice green either.3

Looks good but stops working SabrinaI bought 2 of these lamps with the recommended light bulbs from Ike’s. The lamps looked good and worked well. After 6 months they both suddenly stopped working just a few weeks apart. I tried changing the light bulbs, tried different outlets, they just don’t work anymore. When the first one broke, I noticed the knob didn’t feel the same as the other lamp, it had no resistance and was super loose so I figured something inside the lamp must have broken. Then a few weeks later, the other lamp stopped working but the knob felt normal with that one. I am very disappointed with these. They looked great for the few months they were functioning. I contacted ikea but nothing can be done since I am outside the 90 day window.2
