Use it for drawer linerHIt is very thin, which makes it great to line our new drawers in the kitchen. However, why do they put on a product sticker that can’t be removed without great difficulty? Even after finally getting it off, there is a glue stain!

Poor qualityBritIt's a great price for a desk pad and it does indeed look beautiful, but the other reviews are correct - this is terribly cheap quality. The cork is very thin and fragile, just shipping it took big chunks out of it.
I've now been using this for only TWO days and it has lots of little rips, it will not stand up to much use and I doubt it will last more than a few months.

it's OKBritOther reviews are right ... this is very fragile, and it arrives damaged if you order it. It arrived with small chunks taken out of mine. It is a great price and a beautiful desk pad but I doubt it would last even a year of daily use.
They are also right about the sticker ... there is an IKEA sticker stuck to the corner that can not come off. It It will do the job but it is a bit of a subpar product
The sticker ruins itChelseaLove the product and price but why would someone do a wrap around sticker? It's not easy to remove. If you heat it with a blow dryer the cork will bend and warp. I've used a damp cloth and been able to get most of it off but it leaves a residue which is frustrating as I use these in my work shop. The residue tends to be a wood dust magnet. This would be 5 stars if they just put a sticker on the back. Or heck, they stamp the name and product number on one side, stamp in the barcode and eliminate the sticker entirely
Too fragileAnonymous reviewerI ordered this online as part of a bigger order, and even while it came in its own box, the weitght of other pieces tore it apart. Is too fragile and has no protection or packaging. I can imagine how "much" is going to last. Waste of money.

I would love the stickers to be removed off easily from the mat. It was bit hard to remove the stickers, but overall good

What is cork?
Cork comes from cork oak bark which is carefully cut from the tree’s trunk. It then takes about nine years until the tree forms new bark that can be harvested. Since a cork oak can live to be aged 150-200, each one produces a lot of cork during its lifetime. Cork has several good qualities as a material: it’s lightweight, flexible, waterproof and naturally resists fire. The cork we use in furniture and accessories is made from cork waste that’s compressed into larger pieces.
