double them up!Anonymous reviewerI created a panel ready french door fridge by doubling them up. I love the counter depth and extra width, nothing gets lost at the back. As an added bonus if one ever breaks, I have a backup! Oh, and the larger freezer drawer just fits one of the giant costco boxes of frozen croissants. Whole thing is epic!
Tall fridge, it's expensive. MartinPurchase the fridge during sales, as prices can drop as low as $800 CDN; I paid the full retail price of $1599 CDN in 2023. Per ^3 ft, it is Ikea's most expensive fridge!
Installation requires two people. Cut the electrical hole before mounting the Sektion cabinet to the wall. I considered using a 60" door to save money, but the middle hinge interferes with the upper fixed shelf so stick with the provided doors. I wish the 2 upper cabinet doors had a more robust connection instead of the recommended UTRUSTA 303.669.17. It's short and does not integrate the pull handle.
The refrigerator is quite tall, and at 5'4", my wife struggled to reach the top shelf once it was installed in the cabinet therefore invest in the SNURRAD turntable.
The main manufacturer of the fridge is Midea (1-833-427-4532) for replacement parts. Fridge is ideal where space is limited. If your household has more than three people, I recommend having two Superkalls. A reasonable recommendation when < $1250 CDN.
A bit too small for a full size kitchenMatthiasI like the fridge for my suite, it is hidden and therefor transitions nicely from the living room furniture to the kitchen. It is perfect for a small place, but be aware it is hard to fit a 4 liter milk jug up right into it.
I would not recommend it for a family, other than that it is a great unit.
The assembly instructions are not to the regular IKEA standard, they are a bit harder to read.

Install Fridge Doors LastAnonymous reviewerIn my situation I needed to change the swing of the refrigerator doors...which means taking them off. Instead of re-installing them right away, I left them off so they wouldn't be in the way, and the frig would be lighter in weight. Emptying the fridge of all shelves and drawers also helped. I also left the doors off the Sektion cabinet so they wouldn't be in the way while trying to put the fridge in, which I was now able to do by myself simply by tilting and grabbing the inside deck of the fridge. After putting it in the Sektion cabinet, I still left the fridge doors off. This allowed me to then install and adjust the cabinet doors. (If the fridge doors are already installed, you cannot access the hinge mounting or adjustment screws.) After mounting the side brackets and the fastening screws for the fridge, then I finally re-installed the fridge doors, and attached them to the cabinet doors with the sliding guides. Works like a charm.

Straight forward installationChrisThis refrigerator/freezer is fairly easy to install if you follow the installation instructions carefully and use the purpose modified Sektion cabinet.
Make sure the gap between the unit and the side of the cabinet is as specified before installing the mounting screws or the supplied filler strip will keep falling out. I ended up applying a few blobs of silicone caulking along the length of the rubber filler strip because the gap was a millimetre or two too wide.
The unit has been operating well for a couple of months. It is extremely quiet in operation helped partly by it being installed in the cabinet. I bought it on sale and saved a couple of hundred dollars off the regular price, which was a pretty good deal.
