Good to know

Grain leather is treated with a light protective surface coating to retain its natural look with marks, wrinkles and color variations. Therefore it´s also less resistant to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with a thick surface treatment

The top cushion is covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have the coated fabric BOMSTAD.

Clean with a dust cloth or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

Nice but wanted fabric ones to match the chairsNatashaI had to buy 2 of these because the fabric Strandmon footstool were recently discontinued?!! As a solution, I am using these with the chairs but covering them with the ivory slip cover (purchase separately). Size is great and the Strandmond chairs are more comfortable with these. The leather is more expensive then the fabric footstool which I wanted & needed so that’s a negative. Please bring back the other colours (or offer slipcovers) to match the Strandmon chairs ie the yellow!!5

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters. The materials are then treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products. In this process we don’t allow the use of chrome, which is potentially harmful to both humans and the environment.
