Product details

Our safety feature Anchor and unlock enhances the safety of your chest of drawers by significantly reducing, but not completely eliminating, the tip-over risk.

The safety feature means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to the wall in order to open more than one drawer at a time, which creates a safer environment at home.

By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.

The STORKLINTA series makes it easy to create storage with a modern expression for bedrooms and hallways. Combine the chests of drawers, bedside tables and PAX doors in a way that suits you and your home.

Chest of drawers with 6 spacious and smooth-running drawers.

Clean and modern design with horizontal lines makes it easy to place several STORKLINTA chests of drawers side by side for a uniform look.

The design of the integrated handles along the upper edges makes it easy to open the drawers, also from various angles and when you have your hands full.

Use the top for extra storage or as a display surface. Add a glass top to create a more complete look and protect the surface.

Before the chest of drawers is anchored to the wall, only one drawer can be opened at a time.

The one box is very heavy so I will warn you to have help, once I got it into the house I just opened the box and brought each piece up one by one to the upstairs to assemble. Instructions were very clear and I felt this one was very simple to put together and feels sturdy. Drawers are nice and big. I don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about and I am glad I did not listen to them cause it was a great purchase. Very happy with it.5

Confusing assembly instructionsGeorginaThe Storklinfa is a solid piece of furniture once assembled. Assembly instructions are confusing because the case hardware is separate from the drawer assembly hardware- so you must undo all the boxes to understand what to do. Also the anchors for the screws are now made of plastic. You can put them in wrong and they break as you are trying to get them out . There aren’t any spares but without them (even just one or two) everything moves. Assembly took by two people with lots of experience took close to four hours for two units. That said, once assembled, these units are sturdy and look expensive. I would definitely buy again!4

Not as good as the malmRenataThese drawers are terrible small and hardly fit anything. They do not roll out smoothly like the malm series, it should not be posted as similar to or the malm replacement bec the quality is poor, whereas malm was great. I purchased this solely because it was online as “the malm new series”. Not comparable at all! Drawers slam, and do not have rollers. Not a happy customer with this one ikea. Tried contacting customer service for a refund or credit but was told no, too much time has passed although I feel it should be recalled it’s really stiff to open drawers and may work for infant clothing but not a lot of other things can fit. Slams shut. Will try a sell back to ikea, hopefully enough notice the problem here and ikea offers customers a decent buy back price.1
