Product details

STOREMOLLA chest of drawers is made to be used and lasts for a long time. The drawers are made of robust solid pine and run on hidden runners with an integrated soft-closing mechanism.

The finish has warm, rich colours that you can easily match with other furniture. The solid wood’s natural expression is visible through the stain, which also helps to hide small marks from everyday life.

All drawers have cast-iron knobs in a timeless design that goes well with solid wood.

Each drawer bottom is covered in a striped paper foil which creates a smooth surface for delicate clothes and adds a Scandinavian touch.

Use smaller boxes to organize the inside of your drawers and make sure even the smallest of items are easy to find. We offer boxes in a wide selection of styles and sizes.

Turn your chest of drawers into a dressing table by placing a mirror above it.

Solid pine is a natural material that ages beautifully and acquires its own unique character over time.

The chest of drawers has Anchor and Unlock, a stability solution that helps reduce the tip-over risk when combined with wall-anchoring. When wall-anchored, you can open all drawers at the same time!

You may need to adjust the drawer fronts during assembly or after you have used the chest of drawers for a while, since the chest of drawers is in solid wood, which is a living material and can move.

Great Value. Solid.AllisonLike most IKEA items, assembly is time-consuming, but Storemolla is definitely worth it. No issues putting it together. Looks great and is excellent quality. Solid wood. Even has nice drawer liners. My vacuum robot fits underneath it. Gray-beige leans more towards each colour at different times, depending on lighting. I prefer it in beige accentuating light. Might paint it one day to a true beige or try something different. This is one of my favourite IKEA purchases.5

Sturdy but soft woodMelissaIt’s very sturdy and heavy. We like the self closing drawers and safety feature ( only opens one drawer at a time to avoid tipping). Only complaint is that the wood is soft and scratches easily and ikea doesn’t have a compatible glass top.4
Soft woodMicahI think this dresser is incredible value for the price. It looks so fancy in our kids’ room and holds both their clothes. Assembly with two people took a few hours, but once you get the hang of it, it’s kind of fun. Be careful though - the wood is very soft and we gouged the top during assembly just by resting it on a little plastic bit we didn’t see. And since then, the kids have added many more gouges and scratches. Is there a coating I could apply or does ikea sell runners for the top?5
More than replaced two tall boysBrendaBought this to share with my husband to replace two six drawer tall dresser. The drawers are relatively deep and larger drawers are a generous width. Fits nicely under our bedroom window. Quite heavy and not sure about moving it some day but not a problem for today! Soft close drawers are very quiet and also great that multiple drawers in each half do not open simultaneously, for safety to prevent tipping. Built to last, anticipate having these for a long time.5
Not worth almost $700MeganI followed the directions to put it together and for the price you pay for this you would think it would come with at least a screwdrive. The drawers are a joke and the front panels pop off cause of poor design, and because it soft close you have to use a little force and there is no way avoiding the from popping off. I shouldn't have to put glue or anything so they will stay on properly I am very disappointed and not satisfied with my purchase. Also can't move it with the top piece cause that will also just pop off. Don't waste your money unless you want to put more money into it.1
Great dresserAnnetteStoremolla fits our dining area perfectly fine. It has lots of room, is very sturdy and made from real wood. We can only recommend the sideboard as we call it.5
Pretty butAshleyIt’s pretty but out of the box the top part of the dresser had a scratches which is very visible because the stain was removed. I paid for shipping so I didn’t want to have to take this item back to get a new not damaged one. For the price very upsetting. Other than this the item is beautiful and love the slow close feature. 3
Storemolla is almost perfectPennyI love the design, quality and stability of the dresser. The only thing that stops it from being perfect is that there is no matching stain or knobs available. I liked other Ikea furniture more than the Storemolla matching pieces and plan to purchase a different style from Ikea when I know I can buy some stain and knobs to match the pieces,5
DisappointedShaunaThe fact that there is no proper sealant on this dresser is insane. It arrived with gauges in it and you really can’t put anything on top unless you want scratches. Also incredibly difficult to assemble, with some screws breaking and no extras to use. I was so excited for this dresser, only to be met with disappointment.2

some issues...MelanieThe end result looks good. However, there are two negatives: 1- The assembly was a nightmare. Two of the holes to attach the drawer sliders were too small and stripped the screws. Two of the drawer sides have holes that are 1/8" off and the drawer just will not sit in the slider properly. Now I have to figure this out with customer service! 2- having 4 separate top drawers does not hold as much as having 2 and the drawers are not as deep as MALM. MALM dresser was way more spacious.3
Great quality!SuzieI am beyond thrilled with the Storemolla dresser - it's sturdy and looks high end, but still is reasonable priced! I will eventually be adding other pieces from the line to my home. I will warn - the assembly instructions are TERRIBLE. I found a YouTube tutorial that was my saving grace (especially building alone) - I am not sure I would have been able to assemble without it. I will add I have built a fair bit of furniture and this was by far the most perplexing. Multiple screwdrivers, hammers, levels required.5
