We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 70 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it's not heavier than the specified max load for the bench's top.

The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 40 kg.

Care

Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

The sliding doors slide more easily, without sticking, if you regularly apply a thin layer of paraffin wax or rub an unscented white candle/tealight against the surfaces of the sliding grooves.

Must be anchored to the wall. Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

So incredibly disappointedJenniferI really wanted to love this unit, but I can’t even get past the first few steps of assembly because, as another reviewer mentioned here, the pre-drilled holes do not align properly to slide and lock the pieces into place to allow the back board to slide in. This comes on the heels of another disappointing purchase from IKEA last year that came with damaged pieces I had to go to multiple locations to resolve. IKEA quality has decreased in recent years, and I’m deeply disappointed with this expensive piece failing assembly right at the beginning. I will have to wait until business hours to contact an agent and see if there is any support they can provide. It looks nice, but it’s only worthwhile if you can actually build it. Avoid the frustration.1

Love it IdaFinally something that is made with decent materials. It’s difficult to don’t furniture that’s made of solid wood at the decent price. I love this unit. It looks sleek and modern while functional for what I need. The doors slide side to side which I don’t have an issue with. I’m not regularly opening the unit up anyways. 100% recommend this unit it’s my fav ikea piece. 5

Great TV Console

I went to see it in person and found that the wood-on-wood sliding doors were great. I purchased it and love it in my living room. It gives a great calming and Scandinavian vibe, especially for the price.

We are in love with this TV stand. It is drop dead gorgeous! It looks like high-price designer, but at an affordable price. It is sosososo good! The doors are also so smooth and beautiful, the glide system is very much in Japanese style.
