Not Easy to BuildSarahI expected a lot more from a $500 cabinet. Apparently, what I actually paid for was a 3+ hour test of patience and fine motor skills. The assembly process is wildly overcomplicated, with an absurd number of Allen screws—because clearly, no one has ever said “you know what this needs? More tiny screws in impossible-to-reach spots.”
Many of the screws are tucked into tight corners, making them incredibly difficult to tighten without risking scratching the glass panels. So not only are you building furniture, you’re also playing a fun little game of “don’t ruin it before you’re done.”
The finished cabinet does look nice… eventually. But getting there feels like a punishment rather than a straightforward assembly. For the price, I expected something a lot more user-friendly—not a full evening commitment and a mild emotional breakdown.
