The cut-out handles have a metal edge that makes the shoe cabinet more durable and is a characteristic design detail.
The legs make it easy to access and clean under the shoe cabinet.
As the cabinet only has legs at the front, it can stand close up to the wall above the skirting-board.

OK ButDonAs I assembled the shoe storage unit I found there was one plastic stop piece missing and the predrilled holes on the centre frame piece were drilled exactly opposite each other so that only one stop piece can be installed as only one the hold down screws can be installed. The predrilled holes need to be off-set. Overall not so pleased thus far.
