The lid does not snap closed, it just rests on top, which is pointless because it easily falls off and doesn't provide any function. It is also difficult to remove the ice cubes; I thought the silicone bottoms would make it easier than my standard hard ice cube trays. I do not recommend.

Fix the lids! Otherwise greatAnonymousThere is so much to like about these small ice cube trays. They are perfectly sized for a small freezer. The cube is a great shape, and the silicone bottom makes it easy to remove 1 or 2 cubes out at a time. But, this product would be so much better if the lids stayed in place. Just a little tweak would make this an outstanding product.
Smaller than other ice trays, lid on one broke in the first monthEvaThe size is great, a bit smaller than other ice trays but good if you need just a few small cubes. The lid on one broke when I dropped it on the floor, they don't fit tightly on top. The lids also don't stop spilling it when you are taking it from sink to freezer.

Lid does not snap on and stay on; hard to remove ice cubesPrakashI wish I had read the reviews before buying these! They looked great on the store shelf and do indeed have a nice design. However, as NUMEROUS product reviews have complained, the lids do not snap on and do not remain in place. As soon as I removed the cardboard band package, the lids popped off and were impossible to snap closed. On top of that, it was difficult to extricate the ice cubes. If you bought these, don't like them, and wish to return, you have 3 months to do so if opened and used; but 1 year if unopened. Not sure of what the policy is for defective merchandise; probably the same as above. IKEA reserves the right to offer a store credit instead of a refund, which is pretty fair. Other than this product, I've enjoyed all the other dozens of IKEA products. Thank you IKEA.

Skip theseJaneenNo, lid doesn't click into place as mentioned in other reviews but not a huge issue. Main issue is getting the ice out of the trays, which is nearly impossible. The tray is too stiff to twist and the bottoms are not silicone like I expected but a slightly less hard plastic. I've had to let the tray melt a little bit in order to get any cubes out. Would not purchase again.
coole drinks easy helperRamonaI like that the groud of teh ice tray is flexibel . It makes the separation of ice cubes and form so much easier. The lid is also great as it keeps any smell or "debris" in the fridge away from the Ice cube.

I do have to run them under warm water to release the ice cubes.
Using for freezing baby food! JanetFirst off love the colour way! I purchased them for baby food so I can only speak of freezing and releasing that. Each cube is about a tablespoon which is perfect. They can be hard to release so I leave it on the counter for a couple minutes and it softens it up just enough to push the bottoms. I do agree the lids do just sit on top, and the plastic they’re made of warp when frozen. Ideally it would snap shut but what I use it for it’s fine. I do pop them out and store the cubes in a bag when frozen. Price is a little steep I would say for what it is with all its ‘issues’ but I’ll keep them because I’m fine with it for what I need them for 😊 would rate it 3.5 if I could.

Tray lids don’t sealKristiCute and small trays but lids don’t seal so they are not stackable. Needs to thaw for a few
minutes in the counter before silicone allows you to pop out the cubes.
Good tray but useless lidSeyedThe trays are small. You can easily fit them in your refrigerator. The silicon part at the bottom of the tray makes removing the cubes easy. But the lid is somehow useless, it doesn't fit. It's like a separate part that you are only putting on top of the tray and can easily fall and it definitely doesn't seal. The lid should have been made of a flexible material like the bottom part to fit and close properly.
