Beautiful bed, poor qualityJeheen MahmoodThe bed looks beautiful, it's precisely why I bought it. Assembly, while time-consuming, was straightforward as this is not my first IKEA build. However, the product's structural performance is deeply disappointing. Despite being used by a single individual weighing approximately 110 kg and topped with a 15-inch mattress, the bed began to squeak within the first week of use. At first, I attributed this to normal settling. Unfortunately, the noise has only gone up over time, reaching a point where it makes me mad when I turn in for the night and ruins the morning when I get up. This is not what one expects from a newly purchased product. The persistent squeaking suggests a design flaw or substandard materials. I don't know what to do with it, and now seriously considering returning the item. I need IKEA to make things right.2
