Installing this is a nightmareAnonymous reviewerInstallation of this item is brutal. IKEA provides a bunch of templates, but none of them actually work. They all have "cut out" areas that change all of the dimensions, but there is no instruction on which one to use in what situation.
The instruction manual also makes zero sense at all. If you have a Sektion cabinet, it will tell you to use a spacer for the back and top, but if you use the back spacer on a standard 15" deep cabinet, the microwave sticks out about 5 inches from the cabinet face. The top spacer makes no sense at all, and the way it's machined makes it sit back about 4 inches from the edge, leaving a weird little gap.
The damper also broke almost immediately.
All and all, the way the manual and templates are designed make this a non starter unless you have a lot of experience. I advise you find another option.
