Disappointed MichelleI opened up the package excited to put up this light fixture. Only the wiring isn’t copper but looks like aluminum. I will be returning as I don’t want my house to burn down.
Get the right bulb!Anonymous reviewerTwo of these look really cool above our island! They saved us a lot of money too. Be careful to get the right bulb though. I started with a long Edison bulb and it made my kitchen look like a blue disco ball! It threw off this insane striped pattern all over the walls and ceiling. Then I switched to the warmest, frosted LED globe bulbs (regular shape) that I could find and the effect is totally gone. Frosted is key!! So happy I kept them. Next time I would buy a brass canopy kit and install that instead of the black plastic canopy.

Beautiful pendant lamp fixture SOLKLINTJohnI saw this lamp on IKEA com ca and liked it very much for the side entrance to my house. I live in London ON and the closest IKEA store is Burlington, quite a distance. But last week I drove to Burlington and purchased the lamp. It fits the space perfectly and it's beautiful, quite elegant. But I forgot to buy the light bulb. I locally bought a LED, E26, max 13w, 450 lumens, daylight. It looks terrible. Not bright enough. You suggest SOLHETTA LED bulb E26 450 lumen, globe clear. Will this be bright enough for my entrance? Or, can I use a 800 lumen bulb with this light fixture?

Love love love thisAmandaWe bought 2 of there lamp and also 2 of the lamp cord strala, and converted these to plug into a wall outlet instead of a ceiling mount. Couldn’t have been easier. These pendant lights are so beautiful and they cast reflections on the ceiling and room which adds to the texture and mood.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
