Pictures are not accurateWillOrdered to replace our old duvet that I loved but ripped after many years of use. Recieved an updated version with thicker and darker stripes. The product I recieved DOES NOT MATCH what is shown in these photographs. Very disappointed.
Does not stay closed ShannonThe holes for the buttons are too big. The duvet just immediately slips out.

Diminishing qualityDeannaI have always bought IKEA bedding because it was affordable and top quality. I still have some sets that are 20+ years old that we still use in our camper and they are in great shape. I just bought this set, washed it once and the seams are coming apart. Thought it may be a one off but I see others have experienced the same thing with this set. Bundling up unpackaged bedding for a mail return is a real headache so I’ll likely just sew it the best I can and reconsider buying further linens here. I have furniture, bedding and an IKEA kitchen. Always extremely satisfied but IKEA needs to review the quality of its linens.
LoveSarahSuperstar, great quality
Waste of good visual design Yu-KaiI owned many IKEA douvet/pillowcase set products but this one is disappearingly the worst. The low thread counts wasn't a concern for me because I have similar items bought a couple of years ago that worked great. However, this one make me feel literally sleeping on papers; it's very stiff, rough, and stretchy. I tried them two nights and unfortunately I couldn't sleep well. The strip design looks amazing and calm, but I have to return it for such a quality issue, unfortunately.
Ok…Ann-LouiseI miss the quality of the IKEA duvet covers when they had more cotton in them. Nowadays they are thin and stiff and kinda cheap feeling. I do like the colour, but that’s about it.
Great setBellaLooks good and great price.
Doesn’t fit a regular size duvetKayleeDuvet cover and pillow covers are much smaller than king size mattress/sheets/pillows. Duvet was bunched up underneath the cover. Pillow slips were much smaller than king size pillows.
Beautiful but not durableCandiceI love the look of this duvet cover set but I’ve only had it for 2ish months and it already has holes in it! My last ikea duvet cover lasted way longer. Quite upsetting since I can’t return it.
Very comfortableAlevtynaLove this product, cotton, recommend
Cool fabricTomFor hot sleepers this pairs well with a cool duvet.
I had high hopesKristaI had been looking for a pinstriped duvet set for a while and was happy to have found this one at IKEA. The fabric is only 118 thread count, which is quite low, but I thought I would give it a try. The material is 100% cotton and does have a slight scratchiness to it. The display duvet cover in the store felt very soft, likely from being touched and handled a lot. This was positive, as I figured that after a few washes and some wear, the fabric would soften nicely.
I had the set on our bed for a few days and came to find a few holes in it, which I believe were caused by my pets lying on it and possibly scratching it with a claw. I was shocked at how easily these holes were made. I have existing duvet covers that absolutely do not rip like this. I believe it is due to the low thread count. At this rate, the duvet will be in pieces in no time. It is not durable enough for regular use, especially if you have pets. Sadly, I will be returning it.
Good Material, Design needs improvmentMarleneBoth my boys like the fabric. Washed only once and happy with material not wrinkling. Although could use better closure other than buttons as they keep coming undone. Perhaps snaps would be better along with ties to keep duvet in place.
HolesCaraSo cute! Love the colour and look but has several small holes and rips in it that I’ve had to mend after only 1 month of having it. Definitely not sturdy enough for anyone who shares a bed with their pets. Also, we put our king size comforter in the king size cover we bought and the cover is too small, so the comforter is bulky and baggy inside the cover. Not ideal! Definitely not the right measurements.
Comfy, but could be softerCarmenComfy, but could be softer
Holes after a couple washesOliviaI love the look. Sadly, after washing the duvet cover just a couple of times, there are two fairly large holes in the fabric - not along the seams. I don’t mind that the fabric isn’t the softest but I didn’t expect such low quality. The seams are also a bit haphazardly sewn. I hope IKEA will come out with a better quality version of this pattern.
Great qualityStephanieHeavy cotton that doesn’t wrinkle. The stripes are beautiful. Very comfortable. Very happy
Not what it shows in the photoAlyssaI was hoping to replace an older version of this. I was excited to order to see they still had it (or close to it). The lines are not what is shown. They are much wider grey with thin white. The cover is darker than the photo. I don’t live anywhere close to an ikea to even pop in.
Fabric is scratchyHelenI always purchase my bedding from ikea and have always been pleased with its softness and durability. I purchased the striped duvet cover and am very disappointed in how scratchy and rough it is even after multiple washes. I will need to replace it with another duvet cover.
