The stitching have been severed all over the duvetLucyI purchased this duvet, and even though I have a duvet cover, the stitching in many places has been broken and I had to tack stitch by hand the areas where the stitching was broken to prevent the fill from shifting inside. I don't recommend this product because also the threads used to stitch the duvet are not strong. Ikea, use better threads to stich your duvet with.1
Stitching coming apart after 8 monthsElangDisappointed that after 7 months of use, ALL the quilt stitching is unraveling. Pretty soon they will all be loose and there will be nothing to secure the even distribution of the filling. The thread used is too thin and the stitch lengths are far too long to hold up. Ikea only offers to replace after 3 months of purchase.1

Poor qualityAlexandraAfter 12 months of use, all the cross stitching came off completely. The synthetic filling is not spread evenly anymore and has to be constantly redistributed. It looks as if one rolled bunch of synthetic filling in a ball, shoved it in a hollow duvet cover and closed it. For 56 CAD it is really low quality. Warranty is not available for this product, so cannot return. I do not recommend this product. 1

But if I turning the heat on - it will be extremely hot under the duvet even if sleeping naked, so keep this in mind when choosing duvet. Textures and shape feels even better than in expensive hotel’s duvets! Good product 5

Material

How to care for your polyester duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester duvet and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester duvets can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
