Stitching coming apart after 8 monthsElangDisappointed that after 7 months of use, ALL the quilt stitching is unraveling. Pretty soon they will all be loose and there will be nothing to secure the even distribution of the filling. The thread used is too thin and the stitch lengths are far too long to hold up. Ikea only offers to replace after 3 months of purchase.1

Thinner than expectedElohoI can't believe this is the extra warm. It's quite thinner than I expected. I have bought IKEA extra warm duvets in the past in the Full size, and they were definitely extra warm. This time I got a twin but it's clear the quality has gone down. There's plenty of room to add another duvet in my duvet cover. Disappointing. It's not extra warm at all. 2

Poor qualityAlexandraAfter 12 months of use, all the cross stitching came off completely. The synthetic filling is not spread evenly anymore and has to be constantly redistributed. It looks as if one rolled bunch of synthetic filling in a ball, shoved it in a hollow duvet cover and closed it. For 56 CAD it is really low quality. Warranty is not available for this product, so cannot return. I do not recommend this product. 1

All good duvet covers have hoops which help in keeping duvet in its place . If you have 100% cotton covers, they don’t slip that much but if it’sless than that then duvet tends to cluster on one end. 4
