Good kids knives but the blade cover could use a redesignSusanThese knives worked well for my 8-year-old and 6-year-old. They’re sharp enough to be effective, but the built-in safety features did their job. One thing I wanted to mention is to make sure the blade cover on the non-serrated knife is put on correctly. In our case, it wasn’t. When I tried to remove it while washing, I accidentally cut my finger and needed stitches at the ER. Although it was our oversight, I’m sharing this just so other parents can be aware of the potential safety risk. Perhaps the design of the blade cover can be tweaked to ensure proper placement so that it doesn’t get stuck.3

These are extremely dangerous for kidsAnonymous reviewerPlease do not purchase with the intent to have your child use these. My son had to get stitches and nearly cut off the tip of his finger with this knife. I am very upset that this is catered to children, nothing about this knife is safe. You mine as well give your child a sharp regular kitchen knife because it’s no different. Will be submitting a formal complaint with Canada recall and safety alerts. 1
