Product details

Timeless design with soft rounded corners and a scratch-resistant surface mean that the bed will last for many years.

You can easily change the look of the bed by choosing a headboard in a different colour.

The bed grows with your child, but still keeps its proportions thanks to the clever design of the side panels.

You do not need to keep track of the parts needed to extend the bed since they are included and mounted on the frame.

If you like the style, you can combine the bed with other matching pieces of furniture in the SLÄKT and SMÅSTAD series.

The slats are spaced to offer good support for both spring and foam mattresses.

The slatted bed base lies firmly in place thanks to hooks that you fix to the bed frame.

Great Bed!PaulineWe love the bed for our granddaughter whose almost 2 years old. It's the perfect height and size (using the smallest of the extension). The guard rail fits perfectly so she has a little small space that she fits through perfectly to get in and out of. The IKEA children's crib duvet cover and pillow fit perfectly on this size. There was a hiccup in the ease of assembly as there was a missing bag of screws. So we had to go twice to the store after a long weekend (super busy) to have them replaced. It's a great bed for a child to grow with!5
Beautiful toddler bed!IrisWe bought this bed for our son and we all love it. He was so excited about his big kid bed. We added the Nattapa rails on both sides because he moves around a lot and so far we haven't had any issues with him falling out of bed, they're very sturdy. We really like the flexibility the extendable bed gives you, highly recommend!5

Slakt Extendable BedNeilI bought this for my daughter and she does love it. I recommend to get the better mattress (OMSINT). So far no creaking or any issues with the bed but it has been only a month. Easy to install on ones own, but easier to have a second pair of hands especially when installing the side rails on both the head and foot boards.5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
