Bright light illuminates my 4'x2' 3D printing workspaceDerekLED bulbs are pricey, but provide bright light with little heat (they're 4W; fixture is rated for 5.3 W). All in all, a great solution to my lighting problem. The clamps could be more robust, but I've not had a problem with them, but other reviewers have. I'm at the stage of my life where I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two for additional quality / robustness.
Great light but some fixing required. SheilaI really like the fact this light is clip on. Fits the side of a bookcase perfectly. The problem is the wattage of the bulb needed. I wanted to use LED but the socket doesn’t allow for this type of light. Easy fix I was able to buy an E17 to E12 socket converter. Works great.

the clip has brokenElenaReally loved this lamp, used it less than a year, until one day I found it with broken clip. It seems it needs some improvements in the design.
arm doesn't hold upJuliettenice shape and size. The clip is strong yet allows for a headboard thickness. BUT, the arm springs back into a medium arc, and doesn't stay bent when we try to flex it in specific angles. Doesn't work for us as a night reading lamp. Will return.

Clip brokeDavidI like the lamp . Unfortunately the plastic clip doesn’t seem to be strong enough. Came into my room to find the lamp flopped over on my desk. The store is not close and I don’t have the receipt so can’t do much.

Doesn't work out of the boxDouglasLast time I was at IKEA, I picked up one of these lamps for my desk. Unfortunately, it doesn't work - no light, even with the brand-new LED bulb I bought to go with it. I live a ways away from IKEA, so it'd probably cost me more round-trip to return it than the lamp is worth. Oh well.
Clip brokeAnonymous reviewerI bought this lamp a few months ago. I loved it until I didn't. I got home to find the lamp on the floor because the clip broke. Now the lamp is useless because it doesn't stand on its own and it won't hold with a broken clip.

Handy Light, poor qualityWillI don't work in my office often, but I grabbed this light to attach to my Ikea desk for a little extra light on the surface itself. Unfortunately, at some point, the plastic part of the clamp snapped. Luckily, the rubber grip attached to it seems reasonably tough (and adhesive), so the light is still functional, but given how little I use it (maybe once a week, probably less), I'm disappointed (but maybe not surprised) that it broke so quickly.
