The furniture is made of acacia, a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood because of the high density of its wood fibres.
Acacia has a rich brown color and distinctive grain pattern. It is highly durable, resistant to scratches and water, ideal for heavy-use. Acacia slightly darkens with age.

Big, sturdy tableCarolineThis table is larger than I thought and feels very sturdy. The top is made out of solid wood pieces and feels and looks quite high quality. The only thing that was surprising is that the table top is made out of two separate panels (you don't really see this in the product photo), so there is a gap in between where they join together. It doesn't bother me but food might fall down in the crack and require some cleaning. It took around 30-45 minutes to assemble with two people.
