Tiny in size, but big on comfortFlorenceThe sofa looks pretty tiny, but I bought it for my RV and it’s perfect. Was very straightforward to put together.5
Meh.CynthiaWell, you can sit on it. You can sleep on it if you don’t mind a hard bed. We found that the back cushions got lumpy after sitting on it, and you’d have to keep turning them over and over and beat them to fluff them up a bit. We also found that when it was open to a bed, the parts separated, and a gap appear appeared and you’d have to stand up and go to the end and shove it together again. 3
Won’t last a yearMarkIt’s cheap but not reliable and quality is according. 1
Perfect for a short personKathrynI wasn't sure about the colour (no display in store but it's nice, and I can make a slipcover if I get tired of it. I'm short (5'2") and find most sofas I have to have a bunch of cushions to sit comfortably. This one is perfect for me, and the sleep configuration is also great for occasional guests or me to nap, and very easy to open. It also has the storage for the cushions when made up as a bed, or bedding when a sofa. I really like it, and am happy with the price.5
I love itM.This little sofa is in my sewing room. It’s a wonderfully comfortable seat when I’m doing hand sewing, and have the radio, a podcast or the TV on. It’s also a great place for someone to sleep when I have overflow guests. The last person to sleep on the foldout said they might consider getting one when they go to uni next year, because they’ve already arranged a bedsit. As you can see, it’s also a great place for holding laundry and other sorting.5
Good Sofa, Disappointing ExperienceKim-QuyenOverall good sofa bed that is the right size, function and look for my space. I was looking forward to setting this up. I needed it immediately so picked it up myself from the store. Upon setting it up, one of the holes to insert screw into armrest was so misaligned it was buried under a layer with no access to the hole. No problem, contacted IKEA right away and they were very quick to setup a pickup and delivery of replacement part. Pickup happened quickly with their own transport company, they came up to my floor and carried out themselves, but delivery took forever as they dispatched with FedEx who are known for making false claims of delivery attempt even though I was always home to receive. Finally upon receiving the replacement part a week and a half later, there was a tear in the fabric. After all that wait for a defective part, receiving a replacement part with a different defect was disappointing. It's functional and does the job but the quality did not meet my expectations.3
PerfectHarrietFor very small scale living, this tiny couch does it all! serves as guest bed, holds the extra bedding, comfy as a couch and extends for larger group visits! Also just right for lounge for one! Very pleased! A very helpful purchase!!5
Sleek and comfortableDivyaI've been using this couch since August 1st and I found it sturdy and comfortable. I love the fact that it's got storage, too. I love the grey because it goes with any decor5
great couchAngelafits so well into small rooms. I love that it can be built on either side. Very comfy and great look.5
Perfect guest set up!ZeeLove this couch! Not only is it comfy but it’s great for smaller spaces and is easily turned into a bed for guests. Even has some storage for blankets and such! Love this couch!!5
Mini FRIHETENAnonymous reviewerSo, I've had this sofa for about 2 weeks now, and realized - wait, isn't the Skonaback literally half a Friheten corner sofa with custom arms for the sliding gimmick? The seat is a thick piece of firm foam on top of a single layer of springs, all on top of a storage compartment that happens to share the same dimensions as the two main segments of the Friheten. Comfort is fine/10, and the arms are surprisingly ok to lean on for hours-long gaming and binge sessions thanks to the small chamfer on the inner edge, though leaning on a pillow is still a lot better. I barely use this as a loveseat, and mostly use it as a chaise/3-seater. So rather than a loveseat that can become bigger, it feels more like a 3-seater that can shrink if you need the floor space, while also having enough seat length (75" or 190cm) to be a sleeper. Durability TBD, I did crack the particleboard in one spot from some mishandling, but I've been shoving it around while in 3-seater mode and had no issues since.5
easy installation and comfortDilaraInstallation only took 1 hour. It was very simple. The product is both comfortable and very useful. It is also very good that it has storage space.5
