Knife sharpener works well !BobI have been using dry ceramic sharpeners for years, never really happy. Once I understood how this works (with water !) it worked very well for me. Highly recommended !

Easy to use, but hard to keep cleanRandyI am not a fan of pull thru knife sharpeners as they all tend to just grind off blade material leaving a very jaggy edge. I found this unit works quite well with the roller stones similar to a real sharpening stone. I feel I can get a very decent edge without scraping or losing too much blade material with each sharpening session.
The only problem I have is that residual metal from each sharpening use is hard to remove as grit seems to embed into the stones. I have tried using brushes and rinsing, but seems like the grit is now semi permanent. Maybe as it get dirtier, time to get a new one?

Great except for paring knivesKatrinaIt is super for full size knives. I didn't realize that all sharpeners (from any company) built with guide dividers are too bulky for small paring knives. The feature of using water, and having the handle at the top have worked really well for me. My knives are beautifully sharp now.
