Just as practical for everyday shoes in the hallway as for fancy shoes in the wardrobe.
You can easily connect the shoe shapers to each other when you're not using them, to organize and save space.
You can adjust the distance between the two parts, for toe and heel, since the part in the middle is flexible and easy to bend - for shoe sizes 37-43 (EU)

Effective, InexpensiveEdgardoThese Sittpinne shoe shapers are useful and inexpensive way to gently stretch your shoes. As the soles of shoes progressively curve up in time, the shoe shapers restore the original straight profile of the sole and somehow stretches crease marks on the uppers on the toe. The shoe shapers are working well on my US Size 9 sneakers (280 mm insole) – they may not equally work on significantly shorter, or longer, shoes. I would recommend using shoe shapers between wearings and during prolonged storage periods of shoes – a good practice despite being cumbersome to do for some.
I even noticed online sneaker sellers using these shapers to effectively present their merchandise.
FYIs:
“Sittpinne” is Swedish for a "roost", or a place where birds rest or sleep, like a tree branch.
The Sittpinne, like earlier shoe shapers from IKEA, comes in left and right to a pair. A feature that's really unnoticeable and does not really affect their function one bit.
Reasonably pricedPeterEasy to use, quietly efficient, reasonably priced
Simple to Use, Effective, InexpensiveEdgardoHaving been using spring-loaded wooden shoe trees for years, I introduced my wife to the use of shoe trees. I was able to get a pair of women's wooden shoe trees in a thrift store. From the start, she already found the fitting and removal of shoe trees very troublesome.
Then we discovered IKEA's OMSORG Shoe Trees. Foremost, my wife appreciated their simplicity and acquired the habit of using them, particularly for her sneakers.
Now came SITTPINNE Shoe Shapers, an almost exact reincarnation of the discontinued OMSORG. The newer SITTPINNE still provides the ample spring tension to my wife's Size 7.5 sneakers, gently stretching the creases while raising the forefoot (vamp) to allow air circulation on the interior of the toe. We liked the use of recycled plastic and the clip that holds the pair together when not in use. Pair can be used left and right interchangeably.
May deform shoes with non-rigid heel counters. The spring can be trimmed (carefully) for smaller shoe sizes.
Too smallKavehI purchased these considering them being universal. I don’t even have large feet but the tress fall of my shoe. My shoe size is only 10!
Cheap and reliable KaranWhat a great value for money! Got these shoe trees for my Nike Air Force 1s and cannot be happier! The creases haven’t been seen since I put these on every night 10/10!
