Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. If it breaks, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Check regularly that all assembly fastenings are properly tightened and retighten when necessary.

Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.

Very nice door!DianaI bought this door to add to an older Besta unit. Even though the posted measurements make it seem like it won't fit, it actually does. I already had Vassbo doors on one of my two units, and these have a slightly narrower frame and more glass, but since my second unit is on the other side of the room, I don't think the difference will be noticeable. Pleased to have added a glass door to what I'd originally configured as just an open storage unit.

Door on China/Storage UnitMaryUsed this door with glass shelves on the china part of my unit. One tip - if you're using the glass shelves, you have to install them before the doors. Nothing in the instructions about that and I had to learn the hard way. Easy to install and adjust - love the touch to open feature.
MarilynWe used a glass door on the upper part of the Besta frame, which we use as a stereo /storage unit. The glass door gives a nice, tidy appearance to the unit and we can use our remote through the glass to turn the stereo on and off.
