A high cabinet provides pantry space for dry foods allowing you to have your most essential ingredients at home and close at hand.

Depending on your choice of kitchen organizers, you can tailor your high cabinet into storage for cleaning supplies or kitchen textiles. Or make it into a pantry by adding drawers.

Thorougly tested to ensure this product can withstand the high demands of everyday use in the kitchen.

The sturdy, 3/4 " thick frame construction has a melamine surface that is moisture- and scratch-resistant, and easy to keep clean.

One reinforced shelf offers extra stability for built-in appliances.

You can adjust the shelf height thanks the pre-drilled holes inside the cabinet.

Back panel ensures a sturdy construction and stability.

The edgeband conceals the particleboard on all edges. It also seals and protects the cabinet surface from moisture and impact.

Add organizers like cutlery trays, utensil trays and plate holders to organize and make efficient use of space inside cabinets and drawers, sold separately.

Collapsed! Bowed outward, shelves fell down, broke our things, and injured meAnonymous reviewerWe purchased this brand new from IKEA. I used the IKEA kitchen planner to plan this cabinet, and bought all the pieces it told us to. We METICULOUSLY built it and secured it to the wall exactly as instructed by IKEA's instruction booklet. When I put our stuff in it, the sides bowed outwards, the plastic "nails" holding the back panel on ripped out, and all the shelves (including ones with with my glass serving ware, all fell down) - this shattered my glassware, injured me, and damaged the finish on the interior of the cabinet unit. These shelves claim a weight capacity of 80 lbs - the combined weight of ALL my things wasn't even 80 pounds, and the unit still collapsed. Billy bookcases have a more secure method of ensuring the unit won't bow outwards - the center shelves are locked in place. But Sektion uses a shelf with PLASTIC inserts to hang onto the little screw-like things the shelf rests on to prevent bowing (which clearly didn't work!). Awful!1

Perfect for the spaceCathieThis piece is part of a laundry room/ mudroom makeover. It’s all IKEA. Sektion cupboards and Pax wardrobe and utility cupboard. I love it. Less than 1/2 the price quoted by 2 other places. Feels solid and looks amazing. My husband and I assembled it all. Our contractor helped with hanging and installation. We live in an old farmhouse so the cupboard fronts are perfect. Customer Service was excellent from the design centre in Barrie (Britny) to the after sales people.5

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
