Not wide enoughTaraReally wanted this to work as I love the fabric and texture but it barely reaches halfway down on both sides of king size mattress. Very disappointed, will be returning. Not sure of queen would be the same, but at least you could buy a king sized cover for queen bed!
Disappointed. MeaganI looooove the way the fabric feels but it’s far too fragile to be used as a duvet cover. I’ve had it on my bed for three nights now and it’s ruined. Many threads have been pulled. So cute and feels great but it will not last.

Soft and cozy but pillowcases only last 1 yearClaire-AnneLet me start by saying that the duvet cover is incredibly comfortable and soft. We wash our duvet cover and pillowcases every 1-3 weeks so these have gotten washed regularly and we typically dry on a lower heat setting. The material does get softer with use. Now my issue is that I bought this set and started using it end of May 2025. Now in July 2026, we noticed the pillowcases have giant holes in them from the cotton coming apart. I don’t know if this is normal for Muslin 100% cotton fabric but it’s disappointing because we’ve barely had this set for a year. Now I have to purchase pillowcases separately because this is only offered in a set. The duvet cover itself seems to be farring better and usually any stretching is fixed when it’s washed and dried.
It’s okAmandaI like that there are snaps to close the bottom of this duvet cover. It’s not the softest after one wash, but I know muslin gets softer over time and with each wash. I paired this with the RÅDHUSVIN wool duvet (which so far I quite like) but no matter what I do and how many times I realign the corners and the sides or the method I use to put the cover on, it shifts all over and comes out of place. Not sure if this is the fault of the cover, the duvet, or the combination. Corner and side loops and ties or snaps (loops on duvet, snaps or ties aligned on covers) on all ikea duvet covers and duvets seem like a reasonable solution. Since I’ve washed it, I don’t think it’s returnable. If you have a thick mattress and like more of an overhang, I would recommend getting a king size duvet and cover.

Extremely fragile - threads & pulls very easilyWendieIs it cute to look at absolutely is the texture palatable? Yes the material is soft. However, if you wear jewellery or have pet, any kind, this is not for you. It catches and pulls threads on any kind of friction. I got this two weeks ago and my cat has ruined it. My Apple Watch also pulls the threads and my jewellery so it’s great to look at, but absolutely not practical in use.
Wrong colour? BrigitteI bought this set a few months ago and absolutely love it! That being said, for some reason, the pillowcases that came in the set are white whereas the duvet cover seems to be a soft of off white/cream colour to it. The pillowcases and duvet cover don’t match at all. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be a manufacturer defect?
Schersmin Duvet Cover organic cottonElsieThis duvet cover is soft and thicker than expected. It can get warm. Maybe it’s better for winter vs summer. Will see how it is in the summer.
We wanted a duvet cover that is safe for our kids and this looks to be 100% organic cotton so we are happy.
One thing to keep in mind is that you probably need to wash them a few times before use.
Apparently they get too “dusty” or sheds too much otherwise. Like many muslin materials, they do stop shedding after a few washes.
Cover bigger than the duvetAmandaHas the measurements been fixed? I bought this last year and my comforter which I bought from Ikea does not fit properly inside this cover. The duvet cover is too long on each side and so the duvet often gets bunched inside because it moves around alot. It definitely is bigger than 86 x 86. Other than that it feels soft and I love it.

Falling apart after less than a yearQuinnI was very happy with the texture and style of this duvet cover, but about a month in it started getting loose threads and now less than a year later there are so many it's clear it's unravelling. It takes very little to cause a snag that turns into broken threads. I've never seen this happen with a duvet cover before and it's one of three that I rotate on my bed. While it's very comfortable to sleep with, I don't recommend getting a product that falls apart so fast
Schersmin Duvet CoverMariaJust recently washed this and put it on the bed … for the price already disappointed as there are no loops inside the cover to hold the duvet. Would not have purchased if was aware. But maybe it won’t be an issue ??
Beautiful but not durableJenniferI love this product I many ways. It looks great, it issoft and comfortable and breathable. The weave of the fabric is such that it is not washing well. I have washed it twice and it is starting to come unraveled. Too bad because it looks so fresh and pretty.
Too small or miss-sized.Anonymous reviewerI purchased a King and my duvet does not fit in the Duvet cover. It is more like a queen size duvet cover. The pillow cases are the right size, but my duvet is bunched inside the duvet cover and there is no hangover at all.
