The ironing board got rustyShnazTwo years ago, I purchased a small and lightweight ironing board from your store, which initially met my needs. However, over time, the board began to rust. Most recently, while ironing my son's shirt for an important meeting, rust from the board stained the fabric, rendering the shirt unusable.
I visited your store not to request a refund, but simply to exchange the product. Unfortunately, because I no longer had the receipt, the staff informed me that they could not assist me. Feeling disappointed and unheard, I left the ironing board at the store.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with both the product quality and the lack of flexibility in your customer service policy. A product like an ironing board should not rust to this extent within two years of normal use. I believe IKEA, as a reputable brand, should stand behind the quality of its products and offer reasonable solutions in such cases, even when a receipt is missing—especially if the item is clearly defective.
As a loyal customer with limited financial means, I find it disheartening that I am now forced to replace a product that should have lasted longer.
Lighter and shorterAnne MarieThis much lighter and shorter ironing board replaced a still functioning ironing board that I used for several decades, and no regrets. 'RUTER' is easy for me to handle & store and provides the appropriate size of ironing surface. I would like to purchase a second cover but they don't seem to be available for sale.
Welds have popped off the metalChetanHad it for couple of years but today when I was trying to iron clothes, the ironing board collapsed with my hot iron on it. The welds have popped off the metal on one side of the stand.

It'd be sufficşent şf you'reSelinIt'd be sufficşent şf you're not ironing very often. Better to use than the smallest one but not giving the easiness of the bigger ones for ironing the big items such sheets, duvet covers and etc.
Does the jobAnirudhWish it was a little wider

Material
What is cotton?
Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibres. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.
