The samples I felt, on display at IKEA, were soft to the touch (perhaps they had been washed 1000 times!).
I washed these before putting them on the bed. I ran them through the laundry twice, and the bedding still felt rough. Not soft.
Also, when taking the bedding out of the dryer, (I took them out as soon as the dryer stopped moving), they were incredibly wrinkled. Not just a little wrinkled but crazy deep creases. I had to iron all the bedding in order to make them presentable. With my iron on the hottest setting, and steam, I was not able to get the wrinkles out.

Duvet coverEdelLove the fabric and the design. It is a bit too short to tuck into the end of my ikea bed while having it cover the pillow end of my bed. I have had to be creative to have it cover the pillow when the bed is made but not see my sheets . Considered getting a double size but it’s the same length! Not to worry the deism and colour of it is perfect so I will manage
