Quality Control IssuesDerykIt's a nice looking lamp but like many other Ikea products these days, suffers from quality control issues. Have given up on it after having bought and exchanged/refunded 3 of them for the same problem. The base of the rod will not screw on to the nut in the base of the lamp as they are different sizes.
Beautiful lampGailAbsolutely love this lamp. I debated between this and the Stockholm one and landed on this as the shade is bigger and also it is cheaper. As a pleasant surprise the base of the lamp is a goldish bronze colour which makes it look like the brass Stockholm lamp and adds warmth. The shade provides a nice elegant look to our bedroom, love love it, totally elevates the room. I also assembled it myself no problem. Very excited about this purchase.

Nice stand lampArielA very nice robust stand lamp. Easy to assemble and the stand itself has a hefty weight to it. The on and off push button is a well made design. I ordered it online with $40 delivery fee and arrived at my doorstep four days later. The only cons are that the shade came in collapsed so it has slight crease to it even when assembled. Hopefully it will disappear over time. The other issue is the metal base. There is a plastic cover attached to it at the bottom. This cover is not adhered rigidly to the base and has a little play. This make the stand lamp have a little play as well. Nothing serious as we don’t handle it roughly.
This lamp is a beautiful addition to our family room. Highly recommended!
