No more grooves in cabinet doors for me-ever! I was intimidated at first to have to assemble everything ourselves but the directions are easy to follow, and once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I agree with the other reviewer to look up online in Youtube for a video of how to take a drawer front off. It was really easy, but I would have ruined it had I tried it other ways.5

Pretty to look atAnonymousI love the appearance of the Ringhult series. However, assembling the drawers were one of the most challenging parts of assembling the kitchen (installation is a whole other story). One drawer front ended up wrecked because it was aligned into the wrong holes. Should this happen to you I would suggest googling how to take the drawer front off, taking a break, etc so you don't end up having to buy extra drawer fronts (because you damaged some) like I did. Once I figured out that problem, I was good to go. It was extremely frustrating though and my ikea store is a bit of a drive. The drawer front itself looks great though now that the kitchen is done.3

What are foil and laminate?

Some wood materials need protection with a durable and easy-care foil or laminate surface. The choice depends on the end use and desired finish. We often use paper foil for storage furniture, while plastic foil suits demanding areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Today, the plastic we use is mostly recycled and our goal is to use plastic from renewable sources. Laminate is made of resin-impregnated paper, which adds a durable and moisture-resistant surface for countertops.
