Simple designChung WahAt first, I was attracted by its simple and elegant design. However, after using it for a while, I discovered a major design flaw. The middle section of the pole relies on a screw mechanism to adjust and lock the angle, but it doesn't hold securely enough. As a result, the stand can easily shift or loosen when positioned to face you. Because of this, I don't feel confident placing anything heavy on it, as I'm concerned it could collapse or tip over and damage my belongings.
Faulty production - the clamp can't be assembled - EVERDariaThis has been either designed or manufactured incorrectly. Specifically, the screw hole on the clamp and the inner thread of the part of the holder don't match ANY existing screw, not just the one included in the product box.
Am I sure? Oh, yes, I am.
The screw that's provided is able to pass through the hole of the clamp, but is way too small to connect to the inner thread of the holder's "stem". But, at the same time, were the screw the correct size to match the stem's inner thread into which it should be screwed in, then the screw would be too big to pass through the hole of the clamp (see Assembly instructions, the last steps, to get a sense of it).
Great for purpose but sizing is off by a bit for clamping in deskDGreat idea and find but it won’t clamp into my ikea desk. I would think it would since it’s the same manufacturer. I have the tabletop that goes with Kallax and the clamp piece won’t open enough for the thickness of the desk. Off by a hair… or 1 mm or 2. Hence the 3 star - great product, poor thought into design.
