UnusableSeanBought these for my Billy bookcases, thinking they would work. The notch on the front meant to secure them to the shelves is too narrow to work with the Billy shelves. As a result, they were completely useless, and I quickly donated mine away to a friend that has much thinner shelves.
Great with very specific usageDavianI have a Billy and while I can get them on, the fit is tight and difficult to reposition. The other issue is that these bookends aren't wide enough for my 10" wide shelves. Success will depend on the book size. A little wider and a little taller and a specific note in the product specs regarding which Ikea shelves these are meant to work with would have been great.
Best book dividers I have ownedMarzenaThese fit well on my IVAR shelves, stay in place and hold books nicely. I only wish the make another option, that is a little wider (longer? deeper?) to support the entire width of books. Maybe even a little taller as well. Otherwise PRIMA!
Useful and prettyDahliaThese bookends fit Ivar shelves, which is great for preventing things from falling off the open sides. The bookends can be slotted in at the edge of the shelves to stop books and boxes from falling off the sides.
They are slim enough not to be too noticeable. I just wish they came in more colours.

Too short for heavy booksKaoriI loved the idea of clip on book ends on my Kallax shelves. Unfortunately, these are too short to keep my multiple books straight.
