Avoid buying, design flaw with no customer serviceXiaonianIt worked for a year and then the bolt is loose with no replacement part. The rest of the lamp is still working, but not useful since I can not lift it up.

Good work lampLornaThis lamp is perfect for knitting while sitting at the sofa. Adjusts over the back and shoulder for unobstructed view. Only con, screw loosens and have to tighten crosspiece occasionally.

So disappointed - can't be repairedDianaI bought this lamp in the "as is" and it worked great for a few years. Then it started to droop. Turns out the connection is not a bolt, but a weird U-shaped piece with the threads on one side. The nut stripped and won't tighten, and there is no way to fix it. I LOVE the look of this lamp, but all the "brass" parts are plastic, and once anything breaks, it's done. I still have a "new" lamp, but in pieces. Steer clear. I've been buying Ikea products for years, and this is the first thing I've ever had fail.

I love it, but it has a design flawDianaI bought this lamp because of its attractive design. Installed it in my husband's office. However, in the past year or so I've gone in there and the shade is resting on the desk. Tried to tighten the wingnut, and it's stripped. So now I have to figure out how to repair it. I wish it was built to be a little more sturdy.

Love the styleCherGreat look & great price. The fabric cord & touch of gold really elevates the style! The base is great because it’s very heavy. I just put it up & am not giving it 5 stars because I’m a little worried about the screw-in connection between the base & the pole. It feels loose & I’m afraid it won’t last. Regardless, I plan to keep the lamp because it’s going in a guestroom that will be seldom used. I might not feel the same if it was going to be in heavy traffic family room.
