Poang itemsHazelI already had a Poang armchair which I had for nine years and loved it. It is oak with brown leather. When we purchased the new one I expected the same product. We had to return the armchair because it was cracking loudly and was very wably. It was not oak but of burch veneer layers which we did not want. I must say that it was exhausting trying to get the proper help and finally receiving the replacement armchair. You had a great product with the oak and very disappointed with the birch. 4

Bought with the chair so I could stretch out my legs while watching tv. Angle and height are perfectly aligned to the chair for me and with the leather pad, very comfortable and looks like will be durable.

What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. We often use wood like birch, beech, ash and even bamboo – and strive to use the raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste. Just like solid wood, it has natural variations in structure and colour.
