Glass BombsShaylaI wish I was exaggerating when I say these glasses literally turned into lethal weapons. I had one sitting beside the sink when, for absolutely no rhyme or reason, it exploded. Sounds hyperbolic, right? Wrong. Glass shards shot as far as 3.5 feet down the counter. How I walked away unscathed is beyond me. A quick internet search showed I’m far from the first this has happened to. We’ve since thrown out the other five glasses. I can’t even begin to imagine what might’ve happened if my daughter had been standing there instead of me, or if someone had been holding it.
The prompt for this post asked me to include something I wish I’d known before purchasing. I would’ve appreciated knowing that these are actually angels of death in disguise.
