But when I got them, washed them and poured some water into one of the glasses, I was in for a very nice surprise: they are beautiful to drink from! Practical, colorful every day glassesRuthThe reason I purchased these particular glasses was because they were on the thinner side and came in pretty colors. They were meant to be used strictly as water glasses. No more drinking from the water bottle for me, and given the fact, I take various vitamins and pills throughout the day, having a colorful glass to use reminded me to drink more water. Yes, I have put them in the dishwasher and they all came out in one pice. Yes, they are thin glasses without a heavy bottom but that is what I was looking for. The price was right and the colors are a lovely addition to my other clear glasses.

Knock one against a piece of cutlery or bump some crockery with it and it’s game over. I’m not an especially rough dish washer so maybe they are designed for fairies?

Nice looking set - not the best of qualityAnnieI thought I inspected the glasses when I bought them in the store...but when I got home I noticed one of the glasses were defective. The rim was very rough in one area...as if the glass wasn't made properly. You could cut your lip on it. Not worth it returning, so I will use it as a votive candle holder Colors are pretty, and I like the minimalist design.
