These are toast tongs!Anonymous reviewerThey are wood and have a narrow spread to fit toaster slot without risk of shock. Excellent to grab hot or stuck items from toaster without having to unplug. Ikea needs to update the description. I have same design from expensive kitchen store for more than decade. Sold as toast tongs. Do not use for salads, etc. as they will split.
