“Asked to design a sink that would appeal to most tastes, there were many things to consider. Using ceramics was an obvious choice as it gives a smooth, durable and easy-to-clean surface. Mindful not to use more materials than needed, I made the form of ORRSJÖN semi-recessed sink simple, with rounded edges that are less sensitive to chipping. I like the space behind the bowl for toothbrush holder and soap, a clever detail that keeps the counter clear from clutter."
