Warped basket shelf, difficult to assembleAnonymous reviewerI bought this one, and two other Omar flat shelf units. I found them all very difficult to put together. The plastic ‘stays’ do not remain in place, and I found it very difficult to get each shelf level as a result. They are very difficult to attach and do not remain in place when assembling. Very frustrating. Also, one of the basket shelves in this unit is warped, so it does not meet or go over the plastic ‘stay’ piece. Very frustrating experience overall. I cannot return the warped basket shelf as I do not have transport. I like the shelves which makes the assembly and warped issue all the more disappointing. 3

sturdy and easy to assembleJosephwe left this freestanding in our kitchen because its unique location doesn't leave much risk of tipping, though it came with wall anchors. the welled baskets are very handy to keep things from falling off the shelves. The wire used to make the baskets is thick gauge and very sturdy/solid and we don't anticipate bending or breakage from stress or heavy objects. Given the low cost of this item I would have expected the wire to be thin and not very strong.5
