OLSERÖD is two tables in one. A smart side table that you slide in front of you on the sofa to eat while watching TV – and then you can quickly transform it into a stylish coffee table when friends visit.

You can quickly transform this multifunctional table from a slightly higher side table into a lower coffee table to suit all the different activities that take place around the sofa.

The smart design of the side table allows you to slide the table top over your lap and enjoy a proper dinner while watching TV, without risking spills or the underframe getting in the way of your legs.

Stable to eat on and with a table top that has enough room for a plate, glass and cutlery – and the table top is easy to wipe clean when you're done.

You transform the table by removing the table top from the underframe, turning the underframe on its side and then fixing the table top in place again by using the fasteners under the table top.

The fabric pouch under the table top is a smart storage space for small items you want close at hand. The pouch is fixed to the underframe with touch-and-close fastening so it’s easy to remove and wash.

You can decide how tightly the pouch is fixed to the underframe. Looser screws make it possible to pivot the pouch, so it easily adjusts to the desired function.

A clean shape, an industrial expression and toned-down colours mean that the table goes with most decors and becomes a nice design element in the entire home.

You can easily lift and move the table around to use it in different rooms and contexts, for example by the armchair in the reading corner.

typing height win Robertsits at a better height for typing and has room for a keyboard and trackpad at a healthier height for most. an alternative to being locked to an under-desk keyboard tray in order to get the elbows at a 90 degree angle. the internal packaging is solid enough to serve as a slightly larger tray over top of the assembled tray , at least until recycling day lol - really nifty overall 5
Cannot take any water on itBrandonI bought this for multi use, laptop stand and a tv tray to eat off of. We had a cup with mild condensation sitting on it for an hour. The table top now has a perfect bubbled ring on it. Reading other reviews any bit of water on this will destroy the top. The top lid also can easily come off, it does not secure well at all. One of the few Ikea items that we've bought that was just plain poor. 1

Poor Material QualitySeyede MitraThe material of the top is very poor quality. I accidentally spilled some water on it, and it started to peel off. The water also left a stain that won’t go away, which makes it look really bad. I’m very disappointed.1
Cozy Compact Sofa TableMihoThis is the perfect table for working on a laptop while sitting on the sofa. I bought two of them, and since they can be stacked, they don't take up much space, making them ideal even for small rooms. The size is similar to the desks we used in middle school. Unlike my old desk, which ended up becoming a storage space, this one can't hold much, so it's always ready to use — in a way, that's what makes it highly recommended.5

We've never had so many accidents ErmineFrom spilled crereal with chocolate milk to hot soup on the carpet. I thought it was nice to be able to turn it from landscape to portrait. But that was the main reason we have so many accidents with this table. The top just does not securely stay in place. Once simple uneven weight tips off the top and the clip catch does not stay in place. Good idea poor implementation. And what is up with that cloth holder thing that just wont stay in place aswell.2
