MovesKatherineThis is an annoying piece. When you turn the head the whole lamp moves no matter how tight the screw on the wall is. It also keep popping apart. Unfortunately I am past the return window.
AVOID!!! The lights flicker DanielWish I would have seen the reviews. As a huge fan of IKEA, I am appalled that they continue to sell a product that is clearly defective. Very disappointing.

Incredible value for excellent quality lightLeahExcellent quality metal light fixture with a sleek and minimal design. I installed it with a large command strip instead of screws, and it is sturdy on the wall. The dimmer feature is excellent (no flickering at all when used with the recommended bulb). The multi-directional swivel makes this a perfect reading lamp next to a bed. I can’t believe how inexpensive this lamp is compared to comparable plug-in sconces on the market, which don’t even have as many features. One of my best IKEA purchases.
ergonomic and simpleJulietteI bought 3 total over several years. One of them started having issues at the lowest setting, nothing terrible, I am still using it. The design is simple and the angle of the lamp is easy to adjust. The light is a tad too strong (at its max) for reading in bed though, which makes the dimmer very useful.

Love the lamp, hate the flickerConnieI love the lamp, but I sure don't love the flickering. I thought the first 3 Solhetta 380 l bulbs were the problem. So I tried a Solhetta 600 l bulb. Nope. It still flickers. Now I don't know what to do. Return the lamp and get another one? The comments suggest I may very well get another flickerer.

Great Minimalistic Design - Light FlickersJean-MarcI love the simple and clean appearance of these wall mounted lamps, but they really do flicker incessantly. I wish Ikea could resolve that issue. I've mounted them on my bedroom wall, so they're staying, but I curse them every night while I'm reading in bed.
Not reliable/dimming sub-parPaulI have no issues with just about everything I've ever bought at IKEA, so this lamp is notable in being especially bad. Using the specified bulb it flickers intermittently, whines, and pulses when turned down to the lowest end of the dimmer. The knob feels cheap and overall this product feels like something from a dollar store, not a fairly expensive IKEA lamp. I've owned one for 7-8 years and it failed, and the replacement hasn't been improved. Clearly IKEA is okay with this substandard item, and they really shouldn't be.

These should be discontinued SarahWe bought one of these lights and liked it so bought 3 more but discovered 2 of them flicker like strobe lights when dimmed. Not ideal for reading or for kids! When I look at the reviews I see this is a common issue across the board by people so there’s clearly something defective. Have returned the ones that flicker and don’t work.
