Nymâne + Light Bulb incompatibilityJean L.This lamp is said to be dimmable using LED GU10 dimmable bulbs but IT DOES NOT WORK. I purchased some hardware store LED GU10 (PAR16) 6.5W 500 lumens dimmable bulbs (3000k) that fit exactly with the lamp requirements and it does not work. Light must be turned on all the way to make it work. There is no dimming possible with that duo (Lamp + Bulb). It will just flicker or turn on and off with various frequencies if you do not fully turn the unit on. Fix design or item description to make it sure to have the right combination because it is false representation as it is now on the website. I do not want to return the product. I just want to know how to make it work as expected. So please, do not send me feedback telling me to return product to the store.2
GarbageBrad E.These are terrible lamps. The base is so narrow that it is extremely difficult to even get the lightbulb into the socket and ever when you do the light does not hold the bulbs properly so they are loose and constantly flicker or turn off. Do not buy.1
FlickersJody M.I have had two of these for about two years. Since day one, one of the lights has flickered. When it's on, the light dims and brightens for no reason. I've checked the electrical connection (it does the same thing everywhere in the house).2

Constant flickeringStephenie B.I like the appearance. The design is very compact to the point that inserting a bulb is quite the task. The worst part is that the light flickers nonstop. Some reviewers state the flickering only happens when dimming the light. However, for the two that I bought the flickering is nonstop, and gets worse the more it is dimmed. Avoid this product. It is flawed.2

Finally bought a pair and installed them as wall lamps in my bedroom. Love their understated appearance, also that the heads can rotate and light can be dimmed.5

Oh no, just Don't. Beyond irritatingWayne B.I have two of these installed in my cabin. When I turn them on they 'blink' by going from low to full bright. Looks like someone is trying to send a message. In fact, the RCMP showed up asking what was wrong because the neighbour called in a 'SOS' emergency. I don't think the lights do an 'sos', but it just appears that way. Goes on for 20 minutes every single night. Terrible lights.1

Good Light but for lower hangingErnestoThe light needs to be hung higher on the wall to get a nice light distribution, however the on/off is on the light fixture so you can't put it too high. Had to install secondary on/off lower since I am using this in bed and didn't want to get up and close the light before settling into bed. The light fixture itself is great.3

Irritating and InconsistentWayne B.I've have 4 of these, 2 at my house and 2 in my cabin. When you first turn them on they flicker between bright and dim. Sometimes it lasts for a few minutes, sometimes 20 minutes. It's near impossible to get the dimmers to work properly, it's either at the lowest or highest. I had a neighbor ask if everything was 'OK' because they saw the light in the window flickering on between high and low. This is with ALL 4 at two different locations. Absolutely Do Not Recommend.1

Solhetta bulb does not fit into socketRupert O.I bought the reading lamp with the suggested bulb (Solhetta GU10). To install you align the bulb sockets with the lamps holes and turn clockwise to lock. However, the bulb is still loose and obviously does not turn on. There is a design defect. Please advise Ikea.1
