Incredible value for excellent quality lightLeahExcellent quality metal light fixture with a sleek and minimal design. I installed it with a large command strip instead of screws, and it is sturdy on the wall. The dimmer feature is excellent (no flickering at all when used with the recommended bulb). The multi-directional swivel makes this a perfect reading lamp next to a bed. I can’t believe how inexpensive this lamp is compared to comparable plug-in sconces on the market, which don’t even have as many features. One of my best IKEA purchases.
ergonomic and simpleJulietteI bought 3 total over several years. One of them started having issues at the lowest setting, nothing terrible, I am still using it. The design is simple and the angle of the lamp is easy to adjust. The light is a tad too strong (at its max) for reading in bed though, which makes the dimmer very useful.
CuteAliceI would have liked the dimmer to work more smoothly as the light turns off before I adjust to what I want. I like that it frees up the end table as it it a very small space.
Love the lamp, hate the flickerConnieI love the lamp, but I sure don't love the flickering. I thought the first 3 Solhetta 380 l bulbs were the problem. So I tried a Solhetta 600 l bulb. Nope. It still flickers. Now I don't know what to do. Return the lamp and get another one? The comments suggest I may very well get another flickerer.

Great Minimalistic Design - Light FlickersJean-MarcI love the simple and clean appearance of these wall mounted lamps, but they really do flicker incessantly. I wish Ikea could resolve that issue. I've mounted them on my bedroom wall, so they're staying, but I curse them every night while I'm reading in bed.
Not reliable/dimming sub-parPaulI have no issues with just about everything I've ever bought at IKEA, so this lamp is notable in being especially bad. Using the specified bulb it flickers intermittently, whines, and pulses when turned down to the lowest end of the dimmer. The knob feels cheap and overall this product feels like something from a dollar store, not a fairly expensive IKEA lamp. I've owned one for 7-8 years and it failed, and the replacement hasn't been improved. Clearly IKEA is okay with this substandard item, and they really shouldn't be.

These should be discontinued SarahWe bought one of these lights and liked it so bought 3 more but discovered 2 of them flicker like strobe lights when dimmed. Not ideal for reading or for kids! When I look at the reviews I see this is a common issue across the board by people so there’s clearly something defective. Have returned the ones that flicker and don’t work.
Looks great...but flickersRyanWe have a few Nymane lights in our house. None of them flicker or give us any trouble. But the two wall-mounted models both do. It doesn't last forever, as others have pointed out, but it's annoying all the same.
Great little lampDavidI can’t find fault with it whatsoever. I would love it even more if it came in light or medium grey. But you can’t go wrong with white.
Nymâne + Light Bulb incompatibilityJeanThis lamp is said to be dimmable using LED GU10 dimmable bulbs but IT DOES NOT WORK. I purchased some hardware store LED GU10 (PAR16) 6.5W 500 lumens dimmable bulbs (3000k) that fit exactly with the lamp requirements and it does not work. Light must be turned on all the way to make it work. There is no dimming possible with that duo (Lamp + Bulb). It will just flicker or turn on and off with various frequencies if you do not fully turn the unit on. Fix design or item description to make it sure to have the right combination because it is false representation as it is now on the website. I do not want to return the product. I just want to know how to make it work as expected. So please, do not send me feedback telling me to return product to the store.
GarbageBradThese are terrible lamps. The base is so narrow that it is extremely difficult to even get the lightbulb into the socket and ever when you do the light does not hold the bulbs properly so they are loose and constantly flicker or turn off. Do not buy.
FlickersJodyI have had two of these for about two years. Since day one, one of the lights has flickered. When it's on, the light dims and brightens for no reason. I've checked the electrical connection (it does the same thing everywhere in the house).

Constant flickeringStephenieI like the appearance. The design is very compact to the point that inserting a bulb is quite the task. The worst part is that the light flickers nonstop. Some reviewers state the flickering only happens when dimming the light. However, for the two that I bought the flickering is nonstop, and gets worse the more it is dimmed. Avoid this product. It is flawed.

Finally bought a pair and installed them as wall lamps in my bedroom. Love their understated appearance, also that the heads can rotate and light can be dimmed.
