Don't waste your money!JohnWhat is with the gap in the center? You don't realize how bad it looks until you put it together. Just more cheap IKEA garbo-barbo. It looks like someone shoved two tables together at a crowded restaurant. Don't waste your money. And to IKEA, sending it back sounds great, sure, but after spending hours assembling this awful piece, I don't have the time or patience to disassemble it, have someone pick it up, then assemble a new, equally-cheap piece together. Thanks, though. 1
Bad experience FatimahI bought this NORDVIKEN table on January 22, 2025, and unfortunately, I don’t recommend it. The table looks nice and has a good size, but the quality of the wood is very poor. Even the lightest items leave marks and dents, which makes it frustrating to use. After just a few months, I was forced to keep it covered all the time. I only realized these issues after more than four months of use.
IKEA’s new policy makes it impossible for customers like me to return such items, even when the quality is disappointing. Sadly, this has been a bad experience, and I wouldn’t suggest buying this product.

Top of the line construction, looks great, well worth the priceAndrewI recently purchased and assembled the Nordviken table, and I was more than impressed. As I made my way through the very clear instructions, I had the thought that this table was almost over-engineered! It's built like a tank, has over 100 metal pieces, and is very strong and solid. I only found 2 things that could be improved in the instructions: Step 2, Page 9, the illustrations at the top show the two available lengths of table, and the respective size of pieces included with each. (Perhaps it was just me, but I didn't find this clear.) Also, at Step 14, Page 17, the pattern of holes at the far left and far right ends of the illustration is not exactly accurate. Rest assured they are drilled in the correct places, even though they don't match the picture! Have fun assembling your own Nordviken table. It's well worth the effort and the purchase price.5
Love itCristaThis table is so great for entertaining...with its expansion abilities ..its beautiful...I was able to match a bench and chairs I love from other companies but built a beautiful kitchen from ikea along side this table!5
Good qualityMohammadTook me a while to assemble everything, but the material and the hardware have high quality and everything worked nicely.5
Real wood. Nice finish. Well worth the money.KenThis is a real wood table with easily installed table extensions. This is a very sturdy table and it is heavy. It took a while to assemble but I had all the time I needed. It replaced a older table which I donated for use by a Ukrainian refugee family. I win and they win. The satin finish is good. Overall the product is good. The sale price made it quite attractive and the free delivery was definitely a big incentive.5
Dining tablePrakritiLove the dining table. We have received so many compliments on this. Assembling is hard so we hired an assembler from Task Rabbit to do it. 5
Quality control lackingGustavoPieces have scratches on them and the paint is chipped in some places. The table is too heavy to return and I am not going to waste my time waiting in line and driving back.1

Sturdy table with 1 cm gap down the centreChristineThis table is a good size and solid. However there is a 1 cm gap down the centre of the table top that is not at all clear in the online photos. I might not have chosen to buy this table if the photos had made that clear. The online photos were either photoshopped to hide the gap or photographed in such a way to camouflage the gap. Finally there were many pieces and putting the table together was very long. It was made more difficult because a few of the pilot holes were not drilled to the proper depth which made it difficult to complete. I seriously considered returning the table but it would have been too difficult to do that. I bought a table runner to hide the gap and the size is perfect for my dining room and the extensions mean the table is versatile. The online photos should make the gap down the centre of the table more obvious! There is a real difference between presenting something well and hiding a part of the design. Shame on you IKEA.3

Beautiful and functionalClaireVery good looking table and a great size. The leafs can be easily accessed. It does show dust/marks but not hard to keep clean.5

Ingenious TableTraceyThis table is lovely and the leaf storage design and placement is great. Our one complaint is that the leaves aren't large enough to have another chair along the side of them. At the end, yes of course, but not at the side. A little disappointment, though it likely was never the intention. We're quite happy with this table.4
Dining / Kitchen Working TableManGreat solid wood dining / kitchen table for 4, 6, 8 people. Stable construction in solid wood and hard wood veneer. 4 seat table easily extended into 8 seat. 2 Self-storing leaves are easy to insert to extend the table.5
Great tableIngridExcellent5
Very sturdy, looks goodDianeIt is very functional with two leaves, so you can extend it for a large gathering. The leaves also tuck away under the table so you don’t have to find another storage spot. Bonus for me was the bottom bar that runs the length of the table, great spot to rest your feet.5
