Photo does not match the product... will only work for Nordli night stand (do not buy if you are looking for a top for Idanas)VincentThe photo is incorrect, it shows the holes being along the long edge however in fact the anchor holes are along the short edge. Presumably not an issue if you bought the matching Nordli night stand but i was looking for a glass top for my Idanas night stand and the rep recommended this one as it was the same measurements and the photo matched what I would need (holes along long edge). It does not match and now I have to spend time and gas returning it to the store....not happy to say the least

Disappointed in sizeAnonymousBought to add some durabillity to the tops of our new bedside tables. Unforturnatly the glass is cut significanty smaller than the dimensions of the table tops so a gap is seen around the edge of aproximately 0.5 cm. Does not add to the visual appeal of the sharp corners of the Nordli units. We threw them away as we are too far to return to store and got new glass tops in a frosted black cut at a local glass shop.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
