Works but very low qualityAmandaOverall it works for the space and looks ok, that being said it is not well constructed and and a result was difficult to assemble. The parts are all plastic and crack very easily, the pieces didnt fit together well and it was already chipping in parts before we even put it together. Because all of the assembly pieces are now plastic I doubt we will ever be able to move the dresser because the plastic pieces do not hold it together well, I could see it crumbling in pieces if we tried to move it. Normally we buy alot of ikea pieces for our home but we would not recommend this dresser due to lack of proper hardware to have a sustainable product.3

Quality has gone downhillCarolMetal hardware is now plastic and breaks. There are no extra pieces. I can’t make the trip down to get a replacement piece so I’m stuck with this $300 piece of garbage. Instructions skip steps.1

Fantastic DresserCarolineThis dresser is very nice and great quality. It has soft close drawers and carries plenty for its size. The different sized drawers are super nice. It's very classy looking. I built it alone and it took me 2 hours to do it. The bigger parts were harder to carry so take caution and take your time building it. Highly recommend. I hope Ikea will make a glass cover for it soon like they did for the smaller nordli. This dresser is much better than my last Ikea dresser!5

Change in hardwareKelseyI've always bought my dressers from IKEA and assembled it myself. This exact dresser in older models had a lot of the metal and wooden pegs to secure the pieces together, now there are small plastic nubs on the pieces and nothing else. Two of the wooden pieces don't attach together at all, only the plastic nubs on the other end attaching to the frame pieces. I can't even move it from my living room to my room without the pieces popping out because the planks shift. Very disappointed with this downgrade in materials and now I'll need to get a different dresser and I'm out of nearly $400. Do not recommend due to this change.2

Looks nice but hard to assembleArnieIf you read the reviews of the night stand you will see what people have trouble with. The new format of putting this together is subpar. I always liked IKEA, but if they are cheapening with this new method, I will think twice next time. Very difficult to assemble the pieces. They do not fit together well and require force. One of the drawers split because it was way to hard to get the pieces aligned. Also, the previous metal fasteners are now plastic. Very poor design and frustrating to build but looks good and functions well. Not worth the effort.3
