Horrible productJustinThe pieces of this drawer were flimsy and did not fit well together. The plastic mechanism to lock the pieces together were hard to lock. I had to use a hammer to help fit pieces together which resulted in some of the pieces getting damaged. It almost caused me to get a divorce. Please do better Ikea. This product is not worth it. DO NOT BUY IT.1
Looks great, annoying assemblyJolieI love nordli tracks with the soft close and hole for handle. But assembly was terrible with the plastic pieces that slots in, instead of the typical dowel and locking pieces. Can’t tell if the pieces are seated properly. Unlike kallax that I usually move around the house at will, this is one piece that I’ll be hesitant to move because I don’t know if it will hold up to long term moves3
Horrible assemblyJoanaI've assembled numerous ikea products to date and have never had difficulties until the NORDLI 4 drawer dresser. This dresser is all put together (minus the drawers) without hardware and the pieces have to align and then slide into place. One would think that sounds easy- it is not, most of the panels had to be banged into place. I honestly thought about returning it halfway through assembling. The finished product is great, but the set up should definitely be altered as it is not user friendly.1
Great set of drawers but badly manufacturedElizabethOnce we were able to get the pieces to fit, we were glad we purchased it. But we were really slowed because pieces were poorly manufactured. The drawer assembly was the most frustrating and time consuming. When we got to the final drawer, we took a file and saw to one of the pieces to make it fit. And several instructions were difficult to interpret, so the only solution was to make an error and figure out what went wrong. 3
Not that difficult to assembleMickanWe don't assemble IKEA furniture often, but we did not have difficulty assembling it- not sure how 'easy' it's supposed to be. With a hand, I had to 'hit' pieces to slide all the way into place on the drawer, but that's just a tight fit for the drawers- prefer that over loose fit! I like the sturdiness of the drawers. Wish it came in better neutral colours but great functionality for the price!5
It is great for walk in closets. NurhakIt is not really complicated to set up. Quality is what you pay for. I think it is fair. It is sturdy tho. Good size for me. Over all I liked it5
Perfect for Small SpacesMoniqueWe recently downsized to a condo half the size of our old place and couldn’t have a regular dresser in the bedroom. We bought 2 of the Nordli 4 drawers as pictured to organize our clothing. They fit perfectly in the closet and aren’t very high leaving space for long dresses and jackets. It’s perfect for small spaces. 5

IKEA takes the lead to reduce the risk of tipping

At IKEA, we want to create a better everyday life for the many people – and a safer life is a better life. That’s why we constantly work to develop innovative stability solutions.

Furniture tipping over is one of the home furnishing industry's most serious safety issues and we’ll never stop working on innovative stability solutions for our storage furniture. A tip-over accident can happen when you least expect it. It could be someone using a drawer as support to stand up or children climbing to reach something on top. But no one can predict all the scenarios that everyday living at home can create. That’s why the best way to avoid tipping accidents is to always anchor the furniture to the wall. But we also offer new stability solutions that help make our storage furniture safer. One example is our stability feature Anchor and Unlock. "It means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to a wall to be able to open more than one drawer at a time, which reduces the risk of tipping, but doesn’t entirely remove it. By anchoring the chest of drawers to the wall, you unlock the drawers and can open them all at once," says Björn Andreasson from the development team. Another way we increase stability is to integrate it into the design. "With GREÅKER cabinet with drawers, for example, we´ve developed hinges that stop the doors at a 115-degree angle and keep them there to reduce the risk of tipping," says product developer Dagmara Pawlus. IKEA of course meets all safety requirements in our markets, but we don’t just settle for this. We often set higher demands than what legislation requires to help people enjoy a better everyday life – in a safer home.
