Versatile LianneGreat for small spaces and love all the options of use.5
So versatile SylviaExcellent product. I have one in my studio and one in the kitchen for extra table space when needed. Easy to clean. Drawers are great. Worth the money.5
Sturdy and good qualityAllisonThis table is versatile, very sturdy and strong and the materials are better quality than I anticipated. It is heavy, so best to have 2 people to move it and to assemble it. 4
Space saver TeresaLooks great and works wonderfully in the space 5
Good overall except Risk of tipping over - not for (expected) parentsTina I bought this as it could save space for my condo and I definitely loved it. When I started to have a baby crawling around, this piece of furniture becomes the biggest safety hazard at home as it is bulking and heavy. Whenever I drop one side of the leaf, it could tip over to the other side. Also the thing to secure the leaf beneath is also very loose. I wish I knew all these safety hazard when I purchased. Maybe an extendable table works better (The extendable table was not available when I purchase this gateleg table but I could not return it now). For expected parents, this table is not for you! I gave it 5 stars for quality and appearance - just not for safety. There is also not a recommended way to secure it. Ikea should create some sort of labels "baby proof product etc."1
Great cutting table for sewingMichelleA good sturdy table that I can use to cut fabric on for sewing and fold up when not in use. 5
Great table, tough assemblyAaraYou will not be able to screw the hinges onto the tabletop without a power drill. I don't have one, so ended up paying taskrabbit to put the table together. It will now be a useful piece without taking up much space. 4
It is very convenient to use and highly recommended.YingThis folding dining table is very good.
It's also relatively easy to install, but it may be due to the problem of my installation. It's a little unstable. Overall, it still looks a little thin. It would be better if the desktop board was thicker! The design of the dining table is very reasonable. It is very convenient to use and highly recommended.4
assemblyMarlaI found the holes are not necessarily quite right for the screws provided.Screws WOULD NOT go all the way in, or go in straight all the time.
I had to ream out the holes with a drill. If the screws (hinge screws especially) don't go all the way in, it does not come together right. All this to say you should have a drill for assembly. It takes quite a while. Table is really solid, and looks good4
Great productGlendaI love this product. It was relatively easy for one person to put together, although some of the holes needed to be re-drilled slightly larger. I will be using it as a sewing table and it is very solid.5
Fantastic for tight spacesJustinThis table is everything I had hoped for and more. Our dining room is very small and simply nothing else has really worked well.
The storage, the small foot print when both leafs are down, the incredible expansion. Its all great.5
It worksNicolasIt fits perfectly in the place we have for it and the storage is far more useful than we imagined.5
Dining room tableJasonI don’t have a big dining room so this was a perfect size but still able to sit 4 to 64
Sturdy and practical DarleneI love my new NORDEN table! Be ready for some heavy duty assembly though. I highly recommend using an electric screwdriver to reduce the amount of elbow grease required. Saying it will help immensely is an understatement. Everything lined up perfectly and you end up with an incredibly sturdy table. Love the drawers! Room for all your little dining room bits and bobs, napkins etc. 5
TerrificMelanieI bought this to use as a sewing table. I love that it is sturdy enough to hold both my sewing machine and overlocker and that I can fold it away when not in use. Brilliant piece of furniture.5
Had for two yearsKatherineI've had this table for about two years. I love the folding leaves, I love the drawers. It was straightforward to put together but the screws were very difficult to get in. The thing I'm finding after two years of use as mostly a kitchen table (and sometimes large project table) is that the screws are loosening up. I don't move this table around much so I don't know why this is happening, but it is also far too heavy for me to flip over by myself to tighten. 4
GREAT COMPACT TABLEMarkPerfect fit for smaller spaces. Expands quickly and easily fits 65
Easy to assemble. RonI have a small condo with limited space.
This unit goes from side table to dining room table in seconds.
Good quality and looks great.5
Okay - a little pricy for qualityTeaghanThe table was fairly simple to assemble solo and it was packaged really well! However, the density of the wood made it difficult to screw the hardware in straight which made it a little flimsy - my fault! The wood is already split in some areas (end of table legs, slide out extension leg...) and peeling at the bottom which is a little disappointing. Overall, it looks great, but I would recommend power tools and inspecting the table upon arrival.3
Space saver...LuluQuality and appearance is recommendable!5
