Great light, but the plug is way too bulkyKatiaI really wish IKEA had shown this in the product photos. The plug for this light is huge — it sticks out about 2 inches from the wall, which means you can’t place a bedside table flush against it. I ended up having to pull my table forward awkwardly just to make room for the plug. The light itself works fine, but the oversized plug design makes it pretty impractical for tight spaces like bedrooms. A simple side or angled photo showing how far it extends from the wall would’ve saved me the trouble.4
Handy, but very bright and hotKateThis is a great, very bright little lamp for tiny spaces where a regular task light won't fit. I tried it as a reading light but found that if it were too close to me, I felt an uncomfortable hot spot. The clip is a bear to open, but once in place it didn't move. If I were to buy it again, I'd opt for the screw-clamp version which doesn't appear to need a Hercules to add to my bookshelf.3

A perfect little lamp!ChristinaI've been looking for something like this for a while, as I do cross-stitch and needed a small clip-on lamp to attach to the board on which I lay out the pattern's chart. It is small so doesn't get in the way, lightweight which is important, and it is also available in purple, my favourite colour! A great price, and as great little product.5
Nice, warm light--but power connector needs workClaireI appreciate the warm light - 2700k is great. Colours are lovely and the build feels solid.
Only reason for removing a star is that the power connector sticks out a LOT which is a problem if your outlet is right behind your furniture. I had to pull the bed out from the wall to accommodate. 4
Caution SarahAfter only six weeks of night time reading use, my son noticed that his lamp was burnt and melting during use. Thankfully he discovered it and unplugged it immediately-- this was a potential fire hazard. The casing around the lamp is black and discolored where it began to overheat. 1
